About 15 minutes away is the Snapen's open-air recreation area where you can swim,
have a sauna, rent a canoe and so forth. There is also a café.
If you go a little further you will come to Torsö which is an island for nature lovers which also have many beautiful beaches.

Other attractions within cycling distance include the Castle at Börstorp, the Göta Canal in Sjötorp and the beautiful harbour in the centre of Mariestad. If you wish to visit some of Mariestad's lovely restaurants Lillan will gladly help you with booking a table.
